I started working with Parents in 1999 as a parent’s group coordinator/volunteer for Homestart Stevenage after completing a Level 2 in Facilitators Training and at the same time I completed a NOCN level 3 working with families. Around 2004 I completed the Foundation Training in Protective Behaviours and then in 2011 I completed the Intermediate Level. In that year I also achieved a Level 3 City & Guild in working with Parents with the Family Matters Institute.
Protective Behaviours has become an important part of my work with families as well as for my own well-being & life.
Working for Families Feeling Safe is a joy because I get to work with a fantastic team which I have been part of since 2014. Before that I was delivering Families Feeling Safe programmes under Action for Children. I feel very privileged to be able to deliver a brilliant programme based on Protective Behaviours for Families Feeling Safe Ltd.
